Hi Strangers!

Hi.

Been a while since you’ve heard from me.

I’m feeling nostalgic today.  All Con in Dallas is going on and for the first time in several years, I won’t be there.  I didn’t have a table in Artist Alley last year but I still went on Saturday to look around and enjoy the Repo: The Genetic Opera performance by my friends at Amber Does Dallas.  Despite what a headache and expense cons can be, I’ve found that I miss them.

My old comic partner Halo has teamed up with artist Terry Parr for their own website which you can find here.  They may even be out there at All Con this year, I’m not sure.  They also collaborated on a baby.  So that might reduce con availability much like it reduces the ability to do pretty much everything else.  But they are still “art-ing” and more talented than ever.  Some of Halo’s last few comics done for the site can still be found here.

I have gone into semi-retirement.  After 5 years, I’ve finally admitted defeat.  I was even without an art program for the better part of a year.  I only just recently began to learn GIMP.  After all, FREE is the right price when you’re talking to most artists.  So, I’m still drawing and whatnot but most of it goes to my Deviant Art page now.

But because of all of this nostalgia, I’m feeling another archive dump coming on.  I still have a long way to go to complete everything from the previous web site.  Look at it this way, it’s been so long they’ll all seem new again!

If you don’t get the joke, I’m not going to explain it to you.  Just look at the pretty picture instead!

Once again, Halo manages to take something that shouldn’t be cute, and cute-ify the hell out of it.  This is one of my personal favorites now.  You just want to give one of them a big hug and then realize that you’re arms are gone…  -Doc

Another one of my many artistic friends, Raechel, has begun her own journey into the realm of web comics with Earl, Cousin of Cthulhu!  And judging by her Project Wonderful ads, she’s already achieved greater monetary success than I ever did.

We’re all big Cthulhu fans around here so why not become a fan of his lesser known - but probably still evil - cousin.

Good luck, Raechel!
